What we shipped and when — features, fixes, and the things we got wrong and corrected. Desk2Deal is in Open Beta and this page is the record.
2026-08-24 — Trust: we went through the public site and removed what was not true. Some pages claimed Desk2Deal generates FTC Buyer's Guides and state disclosures automatically. It does not: you upload your own forms once and Desk2Deal fills and e-signs them on every deal. We also removed an unsourced accuracy figure, a security certification we have not earned, and corrected a competitor price we had listed wrong.
2026-08-24 — Pricing: sixty-four buttons read 'Start Free Trial' and led to a page that creates a free account with no card and no trial. They now say what happens. Where a paid plan does include the 14-day trial, the terms are printed on the plan card.
2026-08-24 — Speed: every page except the home page covered itself with an opaque loader until the whole app finished loading, even though the content was already there. Removed.
2026-08-23 — Reliability: a location lookup ran on every request with no timeout and no cache against a service allowing 45 requests a minute; once exhausted, every page hung until the minute reset. Now cached and bounded.
2026-08-10 — AI Assistant: a daily probe that finds a broken model before a dealer does, after three models in the picker quietly stopped working and a fallback hid it.
2026-08-06 — Financing: a collections workspace for in-house financing, with the attention queue on the dashboard. The collections menu had been visible only to the owner.
2026-08-04 — Financing: mobile servicing for BHPH accounts — take a payment, log contact and read the account's history from a phone.
